Town is a speed trap
This Police department is incredibly inefficient! I received a ticket while traveling out of town and have been attempting to pay a ticket with them for about 2 weeks now. THEY DO NOT ANSWER THEIR PHONE! Please hire a secretary! I was given a phone number and website from the Police chief to pay the ticket and even they could not get in touch with the Police Department to pay them properly! PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE have your PAID secretary do her job more effectively. This has been a bad experience and could have been handled so much better. PLEASE DO BETTER.
I was pulled over in this town for speeding. The stretch of road went from 60mph and within about a mile went down to 30 mph.
I went through the 40 mph sign at 44 mph. I then noticed officer Emmanuel pull out to pursue me and promptly pulled over. She told me i was doing 57 mph when she clocked me and i accpeted the ticket even though i thought i was driving safely. It wasnt until i was home that i realised the ticket said that she clocked me in a 40 mph zone. Which was an obvious lie. Unfortunately i cannot afford to hire a lawyer and cannot take off work for the court date so i simply have to pay the 180 dollar fine. These officers will lie to ticket you to get momey for the county. Be careful.
A police officer sitting a couple hundred behind the first speed limit sign (50 mph) clocked me at 57 mph which i was doing when i passed her. I decreased speed steadily until i approached the 40 mph sign. At this point i hit my break as i was doing 52 mph.
I have been trying to discover what is my fine amount and pay it via phone to the Stillmore Police Department and they are never there between the stated ours... How does anyone pay tickets to this town's police department and/or court ?
